Scheduling the Scheduler

Last Update 02/18/99
The Scheduler will permit the automatic execution of any desired function on your controller. About the only limitation is your imagination. This should provide you with some ideas and sample programming on utilizing the scheduler with your RLC-3 controller. Most of this will apply to other models as well.

; Note: Macros 772 and 773 are programmed to connect and disconnect port one to remote base. After a scheduled event utilizing the remote base is ended, the remote base is left disconnected from all ports but powered up and monitoring 1294.500 MHz. This may be changed to any frequency desired or eliminated. The monitoring of a port is handy if you wish to provide touch-tone access to the controller from the remote base port. If you do not want the remote to monitor for the entry of valid commands, either eliminate the line or block commands from the port. You could also program as pat of the remote base disconnect command what ever frequency you want the remote to monitor. You can enter whatever parameters you want i.e. ctcss, TX power etc.
